NATASHA: So I promised myself in my head that I’d post something about school and since Callie sucks at participating in Tumblr (even though she reads stuff on Tumblr constantly) I guess I’ll make an effort. So today was the first day of school. I had my Chem lab at 8 AM which wasn’t as brutal as I thought it would be. I was convinced that it was going to suck because it’s a lab/recitation combination (which is why it’s 4 hours long) which means we take our quizzes in there and since my Chem lectures are obviously not before 8 AM on Mondays, I was worried we’d be quizzed on material we hadn’t learned yet. Which we are. But since we are, we get to have mini-lectures in lab and use all of our notes on them. So, this is a good thing. I then had Spanish, which is a class of 13. 13 upperclassmen. I’m keeping my native-speaker status under wraps for now. I didn’t like being cheated off of in high school. So then I had my Bio lecture, with Dr. Ghosh, who was nice and very Indian. She “lectured” us for a minute and a half and then decided to just let us go and finish on Wednesday. And then I had my Chem lecture, which I liked a lot. My professor is pretty cool. Old, but cool. And I didn’t fall today, which is a plus. So all in all, it was a good day. Now I’m going to go eat the chicken nuggets we made.
